"Easy setup, long battery life, so-so performance"
Pros
The battery lasts forever, and is rechargable via the included USB charger. Supports standard AA-type alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Easy to install. Great response on my black desk. Inexpensive.
Cons
So-so performance on many surfaces that it claims to work on, had to ditch my AMD mousepad >_>... The eight buttons aren't programmable, but you could probably download an app to do it yourself.
Summary
Like I said, it's easy to install and has lots of buttons. It also works on many surfaces my old Microsoft Wireless Optical didn't work on, but it does not work on several surfaces that it claims to work on.

Like I said, it's easy to install and has lots of buttons. It also works on many surfaces my old Microsoft Wireless Optical didn't work on, but it does not work on several surfaces that it claims to work on.
t has plenty of buttons: Back, Forward, Switch window, Left-click, Right-click, Middle-button, Scroll up, Scroll down, and an up/down scroll wheel. I liked the 4-way rocker design of the Microsoft mouse, but I'll live.
The Wireless range is exceptional, especially compared to said Microsoft mouse.
I love the ergonomic design. It's very large, which is good: fights carpel-tunnel syndrome. And the buttons are very well-placed for hands small or large.
It's very inexpensive for a laser mouse. (Note: Laser is not the same as optical)
Even with all of those good things, I still am bugged by the fact that I can't reprogram the buttons. I also dislike that it didn't track well on my AMD mousepad. I had to ditch it, but was pleasantly surprised when I found that it tracks fine on my shiny black desk. (Something optical mice can't do very well, if at all.)
Bottom Line:
I love it for its low price tag, its features, high-sensitivity and ergonomic design. But it could do well with a more powerful laser or more sensitive... sensor. And a software bundle that allows you to change the buttons would be a great achievment as well. (I wanted to make the Window-switch button switch tabs in the Opera web browser)
All in all, a great mouse for the average computer-user, but gamers beware! The laser is NOT always-on, so if you hold still for a few seconds, then start moving again, there might be a response lag. The only game-worthy mice are all corded.
