Pros: It works! I really like the wireless nature of this mouse. You can even sit back and use it on your leg. This capability may be helpful for those like me who suffer from repetitive motion pain.
Cons: Instructions don't tell you there will be no lights when you turn this mouse on. I thought the mouse was defective because there was nothing to indicate it was working after I turned it on. Troubleshooting section of manual was no help with this.
Summary: The mouse works, although it is a bit difficult to control - a bit sensitive. This is the sort of thing that you can get used to though. I previously gave a rating of half a star because I thought it didn't work. I was wrong. There is nothing in the instruction manual to indicate there will not be any lights visible when you turn on the mouse. The front page of the manual is even dedicated to a CAUTION concerning the danger of laser radiation. I was expecting a visible laser. After checking battery polarity and trying a different set of batteries with no results I checked the troubleshooting section of the instruction manual and there was no help there with my problem. I finally checked the technical support site (www.targus.com/support.asp). There was nothing that gave a straightforward description of this problem, but I stumbled on a FAQ about the laser. The answer mentioned that the laser is not visible. The mouse is a bit sensitive but not much of a problem EXCEPT when scrolling inside a small input field. While I can do this quite easily with my wired apple mouse, the cursor tends to jump right out of the input field using the Targus Bluetooth Laser Mouse. It's virtually impossible to stay within the field using the finger scroll function. Bottom-line -- Targus could have saved me a lot of trouble and frustration by simply saying up front that I would not see any lights when I turned on the mouse. As to mouse sensitivity, if you can live without the ability to stay within a small input field like the one I am using to type in this review, you can probably work with this mouse and enjoy it.

Summary: After a while, our iMac (version 10.4.11) started to get slower and slower. Eventually, the Mac wouldn't do anything without causing applications to "not respond". I really began to hate the rainbow pinwheel. I went back to my Apple wired mouse and the problem got better. The Mac is almost all better, and I'm really glad. I'm sticking with Apple mice from now on.

Pros: color. shape. size. nifty optical sensor. ultra small usb receiver.
Cons: mouse skips from time to time, but only for a second. a little too large to be portable.
Summary: great overall value. purchased mine for $25 on buy.com, totally worth it! the optical sensor is genius and took only a minute or two to be able to scroll accurately. the white/gray color stills work well with the aluminum unibody.

Pros: An alternative to the Apple Mighty Mouse. Slick design. Affordable.
Cons: Like the Mighty Mouse, this is not for people with medium-large to large hands. USB mice are too 90's, I would opt for the bluetooth mouse version (noted in the article) in order to free up a usb port for other devices.
Summary: If you are shopping for a mouse I recommend that you go to a brick and mortar store and put your hands on one. This is going to be the most used computer accessory that you have so make sure your mouse feels good and performs. There is nothing worse than having to "fight" with a mouse or worse, end up wearing a wrist brace.
