|Bottom line|| |
If you're interested in the inverter tech angle, you may be disappointed. But if you don't expect to get artisanal omelets from a microwave, it's still a solid choice for a large, midprice countertop model.
We've seen other high-power, high-capacity cookers that cost a lot less. Reheating almost anything at the touch of a button is a tempting feature, but unless you think you'd use it often, you'll probably want something less expensive.
For $289.99, we expect all presets to function well and as only half of them do, the Sharp isn't a good value.
This Amana is a perfectly fine appliance, but at this price, we expect a little more than just "fine."
The Whirlpool WCM50522AS is a fine microwave, but not worth the asking price.
