Pros: 1) Battery life is awesome. Though others complain about the copy-right protection on getting your home recordings back onto your PC, you can get around this. You buy a regular audio cable---hey, I got mine for $2 at the Canadian Dollar Store---put one
Cons: 1) Battery life is awesome EXCEPT for when you use your $150 Sony microphone to record say, two of your four 1hr lectures each Mon-Wed-Fri at university and want to review your lectures to fill in missing spots in your notes before your 20min walk back h

Pros: excellent quality, recording and playback. great features. a beautiful machine.
Cons: stupid that you cant digitally upload your own recordings to your pc. for this reason alone i will never buy another sony product. minidisc has been made an effectively obsolete format. i spit on sony, shame.
