Few newer features but not that important.

Cons

Very bad drive train. Horrible transmission/ Ride

"We love our Sienna XLE"

Pros

Luxurious interior, EXTREMELY smooth ride, handsome styling, 21mpg, features galore, roomy, comfortable, Toyota reputation, roll-down windows in sliding side doors

Cons

Darn, no driver's seat memory!

We love our Sienna XLE. As I said in my comment on Samody's review, I once said "over my dead body will I EVER buy a minivan". Well...I'm a true convert. This is the most beautiful ride, luxurious interior, nicest car I've owned.

We love our Sienna XLE. As I said in my comment on Samody's review, I once said "over my dead body will I EVER buy a minivan". Well...I'm a true convert. This is the most beautiful ride, luxurious interior, nicest car I've owned.

We drive our Sienna 100 miles a day, and decided that since the reliability and safety ratings of the Toyota and Honda are comparable, that we would rely on interior comfort/feel and features to make our purchase decision. We originally had our minds set on the Honda Odyessy. But comparing them side-by-side, there was just no comparison. Sienna is leaps and bounds over the Odyessy in terms of interior comfort and style.

My understanding is that Toyota brought their Lexus designers in to completely redesign the Sienna for the new 2003 model year. The Lexus influence shows! This is a luxurious car for sure, and everyone who rides in our Sienna comments on how luxurious it is. People are usually surprised at the beautiful interior.

Aside from the interior, we find the ride to be extremely smooth and car-like. You really do forget you are driving a minivan. I feel very safe and secure driving the Sienna. Also, we typically average about 21mpg, which isn't bad at all considering the fact that this is a big, heavy car.

Do yourself a favor and go test drive the Sienna. I would buy another one in a heartbeat!
