very problematic
Pros: big screen
Cons: device has about 15 glitches
Review: Horrible, worst product I have owned in my entire life.
The company I work for paid approximately 1600 dollars or more so the employees could be in communication and enter data wirelessly-great idea - Buying the mc-70 bad idea. They could have done the same thing for about 200-400 dollars.
Oh, but they say that it has a bar code scanner built in to it. Well big freakin deal- I dont even need a bar code scanner to close out my service calls! And as far as any inventory- I could do that when I get to the office. If you use the scanner it eats your battery.
The device is humongous compared to other wireless devices on the market. If you want to be laughed at...go ahead and strap the giant 'brick' to your waist and you can parade around town during halloween and tell everybody you work for ups or fed ex and see if you get costume of the year award -I can almost guaranty you will win! Instead of fitting into your pocket you can bump into stuff all day with this giant thing
It has one alert tone and it sounds like your getting pulled over by the police every time it goes off.The device freezes because it cant stop storing battery low messages and the battery goes low every day after about 7 hours of usage! When it starts giving you low battery messages you cant even turn it off and if you remove the battery to stop it, it will require a visit to your IT guy.
The phone screen is unviewable in the sunlight. The phone has bad signal and calls drop out when another call comes in. The device becomes "disconnected" from the server for no apparent reason.Device freezes and requires double triple and even quadruple tapping of buttons before responding- all of which happen intermittently.
