Limited resolution and wireless sophisticationby abdoc17 - April 12, 2005
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Cannot display 1024x768 resolution. Wireless signal was inconsistent and kept dropping. Remote Desktop interface was clumsy and unflexible. Customization of features was not user-friendly.
Review: Was disappointed with this device. Although they have a device that displays 1024x768, I am sure it maintains the same inflexible design and unsophisticated wireless technology. Wireless connection would drop periodically when the device was further from the access point (about 30 feet from Cisco Aironet 1100). Could not use WPA technology. The RDP client utility was clumsy and customization of it (auto-connect) involved the installation and use of a clunky registry editor. Customer/Techincal support was some of the worst I've ever encountered. I was conducting an eval for an ASP. They took forever to respond to my requests and the sales people seemed to have no knowledge of the product. This is not a device for a professional environment that requires above average security and performance.
