Clear 4G+ Mobile Series S USB modem

Pros: Wireless. Easy Installation.

Cons: Service does not work.

Summary: My internet service during peak hours went from a crawl to nonexistent. The customer service told me that there is nothing I can do and that they are not planning to make any adjustments or upgrades to their system to account for the mass amounts of users.

I recently moved 1/2 mile away and am unable to pick up a Clear signal at all (even though I am still in the downtown Austin area). I called Clear and had to cancel the service and now have to pay $80 in fees for ending my contract early. I have talked with several agents about waiving the fees without any luck.

I also stopped using the Clear USB modem at my office and started using my office WiFi (Time Warner). I am clocking speeds 2X faster.

I wish it were possible to give 0 stars for nonexistent service. Please do not even consider using Clear, it is virtually worthless!
