"Broke with less than 1 week of use" on by klekolo
Pros: Originally liked price & portability of internet product
Cons: On 4th removal from USB port on my computer the item broke --> metal usb remained in my usb drive while remainder of stick was in my hand. Seems poorly made
Summary: T-mobile would not assist in any way with this product -- although product seems to be simple manufacturers defect & I wished to exchange within 10 days of purchase they refused citing "product damage." Furthermore, they stated that because the item was in 2 pieces it voided the warranty. Avoid T-mobile -- you get what you pay for: No customer service.

"Intermittent, Unreliable and Basically Useless" on by yellodevil
Pros: I really have nothing good to say about this item
Cons: Fluctuating transfer rates, constant time-out errors, overheating hardware, unstable drivers, buggy software
Summary: The T-Mobile Rocket Laptop Stick is one of the most frustrating products I have ever used. Not only does the Webconnect software require regular re-installation but the device drivers (fifteen in all, I believe) constantly replace, override and duplicate themselves, WiFi access is nonexistent and the hardware itself frequently (literally) overheats. The initial link is established quickly and stays open just fine, however actual transfer rates fluctuate so greatly that web pages, downloads, posts, orders, etc continually time out so that it's virtually impossible to get anything done online and the connection appears to exist for the sole purpose of allowing T-Mobile to apply limitations to their "Unlimited" data plan (per the surprise "Fair Usage Policy"). This product totally sucks and makes me wish for the days when all we had was dial-up.
Also - the webpages that seem to time out fastest/most often...? T-Mobile's very own support pages! Good luck trying to get any kind of assistance, resolution or even information on this prroblematic thing!

"horrible product experience" on by chuckinRiverside
Pros: seemed like a good idea when signed contract in 12/11
Cons: Pootly constructed hardware broke, doubled insurance premiums, poor customer service. Want to charge us again for hardware--but they give it away to get you to sign up. They never gave us anything but a hard time and smoke and mirrors.
Summary: In summary, worst vendor experience in many many years. Didn't do enough research on this company before we signed contract. Only use them if they are last resort.
