  "Windows would not recognize modem."

  Summary: I bought the PCI version of this zoom modem. Puechased it because of the write ups on speed /connections. My Turtle of a USR modem neccessitated the need to improve.. But, As usual, did not improve. After downloading and installing drivers from zoom web site.. (Very confusiong which files to download.)I installed the new modem as instructions said. Rebooted and windows Me would not recognize new modem.. After Four Long distance phone calls to tech support, they said the new modem was ""dead"". So, all that work for nothing. I had to reinsatll my USR modem, and then reinstall the drivers for those. GEEZE. Well, at least i was able to return the zoom modem and get a refund. What a waste of time.. Can't someone make and evaluate a ""GOOD"" modem.
