The motherboard supports AMD socket AM2+/AM2 for Phenom FX/Phenom/Athlon 64/ Sempron/Athlon 64 X2/ Athlon 64 FX/ processors with 2MB / 1MB / 512KB L2 cache, which is based on 64-bit architecture. It features 2000 MT/s HyperTransport1.0 Bus, dual-channel un-buffered DDR2 1066 (AM2+) and DDR2 800 (AM2) memories support and AMD Cool 'n' Quiet! technology. This motherboard supports next-generation SATA hard drives based on the SATA 3Gb/s storage specification, allowing RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5 and JBOD configurations for five SATA connectors. The motherboard and its packaging comply with the European Union's Restriction on the use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). This is in line with the ASUS vision of creating environment-friendly and recyclable products and packaging to safeguard consumers' health while minimizing the impact on the environment.

A decent motherboard for the price.by devindedog - April 16, 2011
Pros: This is an inexpensive motherboard and is yesterdays technology, but i performs well. It has only modest overclocking potential.
Cons: Seems to be quite stable and easy to set up.
Review: A good buy for what it is.

Great Board ! - Great Price!by sparkstan66 - May 24, 2009
Pros: I bought this board as part of a bare bones kit and it has been a great performer. Very stable, no crashes. Bios setup is awesome. Has great overclocking potential. I am running it with the AMD Phenom 9950 2.6 ghz chip and it is running like a champ!
Cons: Two minor issues with this board. The front panel connectors are not labeled correctly. Power and Reset switch are labeled wrong per the diagram in the manual. Also the onboard network adapter never recognized my cable internet connection.
Review: All in all a great board. No complaints. Other than the minor issues with the front panel connectors and the network adapter, everything runs great. Small form factor is awesome for putting together a media PC. I would definitely recommend this board.
