"Onboard ATI video does not work with 64bit Win7"
on by RJMtampaPros I can't get past the massive "con"
Cons Video fails under 64bit windows 7. Just watch two YouTube videos in a row and the the system freezes for a moment and then the video resets and you get a message that windows has recovered from an error. Asus knows about it and doesn't care.

"Great board, purchased a week prior to the 89 version."
on by bobbyjsextonPros All cores are seen every time booted. Solid as a rock in all phases that I have experienced. Not a single problem.
Cons I don't know about the newer 89 series, don't know what the improvements were about.
Summary It was less than a week when I noticed the 890 series boards were on sale. The 880 were not listed any longer so I must think there was something improved upon with the 890 boards. I have had not one problem with my board so I cannot expand upon the con's and pro's of either.

"Awesome product, but integrated graphics are a bit weak"
on by cwsullivanPros 1) High Quality
2) Easily unlocks hidden cores
3) Easily overclocks your CPU
4) Awesome performance (helped my CPU achieve 4.5 on Windows 7 Experience Index)
5) Comes with plenty of cables (example 4 SATA cables)Cons 1) Integrated graphics are a bit weak (4.5 and 5.5 on Windows 7 Experience Index) - not really a big deal to me, because I'm not a gamer, so this performance level is sufficient for my purposes.
Summary
Typographical Error: This board helped my CPU achieve a 7.5 on the Windows 7 Experience Index (not a 4.5).

"After installing it yesterday it works perfectly."
on by einar_launingPros Easy installation and there seems to be a lot more options to configure than I ever will need. A doubble sett of USB3 adds to the usefullness.
Cons For my use the Cross-Fire functionality is overdo. I'd like more regular PCI-E instead.
Summary I installed it yesterday with an AMD Phenom X4 965 Black Edition CPU, 4 Gb Corsair 1333 RAM and only the onboard graphics card and it works like a charm! Layout and connections is standard but offers personalization of settings like no other mobo I've had.
