"What is this for? ... no really"
Pros: Looks cool and is by Belkin. Wireless is great
Cons: A pointless device
Summary: Look, I'm all for gadgets, but what does this give you that a 3.5mm stereo to phono cable connecting your dock to your stereo AUX in does not give you apart from the ability to wander round the room? Bloody Ipod would run out of batteries after 6 hours anyway. For nearly 200 of your American dollars, I really don't see the point.
Ive given anneutral score because perhaps I'm missing something...but I don't think I am

How can you comment on this product if you don't have one? The User Opinions are for people who have purchased it and can give an educated opinion on the product.
As for price - if people want to pay it, that's their choice. I personally don't understand why people would pay any money for an FM modulator. -
Agree -silly approach. You can by the nice Kensington dock for a fraction of the price and use their nicely designed remote control to accomplish the same thing with a much more reliable wired connection for the iPOD.

As someone whose entire music collection sits on my iPod, this product is long overdue. I can sit far away from the stereo and control the music and volume. I will eventually have to recharge the iPod, but I need to do that anyway. Fantastic idea, I definitely want to see how they pull this off.

I am looking for exactly this type of product. I will take a look. I currently have my computer (ITUNES) in the basement cable linked to my stereo. Everytime I need to change an song/album I have to go down to the basement and go onto ITUNES and change the song. I also have the IPOD docked next to my stereo in the living room which also means getting up and changing the song on the IPOD if needed.
We also have summer parties on the deck (outside speakers) - if the range works fine then you can change songs remotely outside instead of walking inside. I will give it a try and let you know. -
Also, couldn't you just purchase a car mp3-beamer and use it in your house? Thus saving yourself over $100? I personally just hook my mp3 player into whatever speakers are at hand, or, for mobile listening, I wear my headphones in my house.
