"Beats my Altec in almost every way..." on by gjj1056

Pros: Sound quality. Powerful! Ipod dock and remote. Video out. Solid design

Cons: Batteries needed and life. A lil' bulky.

Summary: Great bang to buck ratio. I highly recommend it. You can really feel the bass... sounds like a mini hi-fi.

"not happy at all" on by curls 1

Pros: handy to have, but DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK

Cons: sound poor DOESN'T ALLWAYS WORK

Summary: I MIGHT BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG, i GOT ONE FOR MY BIRTHDAY ON THE 16TH JAN 08, PUT MY BRAND NEW IPOD NANO IN AND PART WAY THROUGH THE FIRST SONG IT STOPPED, i TRIED IT AGAIN AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. i TOOK IT BACK AND THEY GAVE ME A NEW ONE, THE SAME THING HAPPENED AND THE FAST FORWARD TO THE NEXT SONG WORKS ONE MINUTE THEN THE NEXT IT DOESN'T. sO iM TAKING IT BACK FOR A REFUND AND WILL TRY ANOTHER BRAND. mAYBE SOMEONE COULD SUGGEST A BRAND THAT WOULD BE BETTER OR EVEN WHAT COULD BE GOING ON WITH THE ONE I'VE GOT.

"Simple yet spectacular" on by manu08

Pros: Decently priced, respectable bass response, crisp clear.

Cons: No option to select whether ipod should be charged or not

Summary: These speakers are absolutely amazing. The bass response it offers is far better than I had expected and the clarity is incredible. The wireless remote has a very good range. The simple design adds to its beauty because you can keep the speakers anywhere and they will just blend in. I haven't tried operating them on battery power so I cannot comment on that. Only one thing I would have preferred which is not offered in any speakers (even the ones that cost over $300) is the ability to chose whether or not to charge the ipod because using it this way and charging it all the time could reduce the life of the battery in my opinion but that is just something no company has seemed to include in their speakers and not something specific to these speakers. I would highly recommend these speakers as there is no competition for them at a price of just $60.

"Perfect for small rooms or camping trips" on by EnciscoJuarbez

Pros: Sound quality is quite good, easey to use, price is perfect

Cons: iPod doesn't securley fit into the dock, no place to store remote / ac adapter

Summary: I purchased this recently from Best Buy. I originally bought a JBL On-Stage through the recommendation of several employees. Within 2 hours I returned the JBL to the store. The On-Stage was terrible, as you could see the speakers pumping out and hitting the metal casing around it, making a vibrating noise.

I brought in my iPod Nano and tested all the systems out within the price range. The Audiostation Express was clearly the best of the bunch. There's very little noise distortion at high levels, and sounds great at normal levels (which is loud enough).

I have mostly Logitech for all my household electronics and the Audiostation is a nice addition. It's perfect for outdoors (especially if you like camping) with the use of 6 AA batteries.

I highly suggest this product over anything in the same class. It's top notch!

"It is just as good as JBL On-Stage II and half the price!" on by valle07

Pros: Great crisp sound! Not Too pricey compared to others! Logitech

Cons: If you blast it, it sounds distorted! Controller included does not work with objects in between!
