"Misleading picture on box, not as it really works, but it is inexpensive"
Pros: small, portable
Cons: Use missleading if buying based off picture
Summary: There is no way for the iPod video pictured on the box to be playing any sound from the iPod. The reason is that all audio is pumped to the speakers via an audio jack. The audio jack is on the top and there is no cable plugged in. This pitcured iPod video is sitting in the dock for looks.
Also, the dock is just a physical dock, no iPod connector is used to connect the iPod to the speakers. Lastly, the secure wheel (to keep iPod sitting up right) is not very snug, even though it is adjustable.
End decision: buy if you want portable low cost speakers. Don't buy if you want true iPod integration via iPod connector.
