"Sweet addition to iPod"
Pros: Easy to use, gives the iPod what some consider lacking
Cons: easy to press buttons inaverntaly when using clip.
Summary: When I first read the review on the MyBlu, it was something I was looking for and trying to design myself.
I walk to work and my iPod makes the walk a pleasure. The downside was that I often did not here my cell phone ring or feel it vibrate when I was walking. The device was easy to install and works very well. I like having the small set of buttons handy to advance song, pause or adjust the volume (This takes over volume control).
It has no effect on the iPod sound. I use sure ec3 earbuds. The phone calls are very clear, but the receiving party will notice wind noise.
Using voice commands with my razr phone is poor, but it with the phone too. When using with a friends LG phone voice commands worked well.
After having the MyBlu for about 6 weeks, I developed a problem with static when making a call unless the phone was held near the device. I contacted Mavizen and the had me return the MyBlu to the dealer (MSG digital). The replacement process went smoothly and quickly and the problem was fixed.
This also works well for hands free calls in the car. Plugging in the cassette adapter put the calls through the car's speaker.
This is a very good or excellent device for someone who uses an iPod frequently and needs to use a cell phone occasionally.
