"Terrible and worse"
Pros: There are no pros
Cons: Everything and more
Summary: I purchased this MP3 player for my husband for his birthday. Within one year it stopped working. It just died, no warning, nothing, just dead. After an out of state move, we lost the cable to connect it to the computer. Went to the RIO site to order one, they didn't have it. The support rep told me they were out of stock, to keep checking the site to see when it's back in stock. A year later, I finally am able to order a cable. I get the cable, download the firmware and try to upload it to the player. No luck. I emailed their "support" to get help. They sent me a canned answer which I tried with no luck. I sent them another email and got the same exact canned answer. This happened 4 times before I got upset and demanded a different response. I got a different canned answer that told me to call them to resolve the issue. Needless to say I am not going to continue trying to fix the player. My time and money are best spent on a player that will work like it's supposed to. Stay AWAY from the poor product with horrible customer support.
