"Compare it to its function not to Ipod"
Pros: I wanted an MP3 not just iPod (I know, hard to believe that someone else could make a quality MP3 palyer). As an MP3 player it performs well. Navigation is easy for me and the sound is excellent. I have no trouble getting things to play in order and organ
Cons: Not very comfortable with the iTunes format of uploading songs. Dell's customer service is legandary for being awful and that hasn't changed. And last, it is a bit heavy but the new ones are supposed to be mych lighter.

Pros: price $150, decent accessories, nice look and feel, intuitive design, can use with Win98se
Cons: firmware corrupted and Dell support couldnt help me fix. I was forced to format and am sitting here now uploading 15G of music. 4 months of almost daily use should not break it.
