Pros: Finally can do video.

Cons: The true video iPod will be out sometime next year (ThinkSeceret)

Summary: ThinkSeceret stated that this is not the "killer app" that Apple has planed to come out in 2006. Steve Jobs said that the iPod will succeed because its primary app is still music, and the market is still not ready for video, acording to NY Times

I agree with ThinkSeceret in that they are working on a true video iPod, and that this is just a really cool iPod with video capablilty. When the "real thing" comes out it will have a widescreen, and the next "iTunes" will have full length movies.

i agree with them also...the idea is appley. But how could they stand out v. the psp? If they were to retain the ipod's cuteness and simplicity and add a vertical widescreen, it could be awesome. I think their main focus is size - would you want to clip a psp onto your waist during your morning run?

Apple IS innovative...with the whole scroll wheel and everything...but how could apple stand out as an mp3 player when it is evolving into a mini psp? If they could retain the cute simplicity of the ipod but add a vertical widescreen, it could be awesome.

itunes is working on video version where u can buy movies...a full sized video library...where u can download moveies..somethign like movielink or cinemanow...but then also u have to chose from what apple has to offer..not what u want!...
if u want to dump home videos...then u are at bay..buy quicktime or wait until apple has a solution...
Sick product
