"Great Player for video and Music!"
Pros: Big screen, video use, thinner than the old 20 GB model, sleeker, screen is better resolution
Cons: Battery life a little short playing video
Summary: First, this screen is a great size. Yeah some players have 4" screens but they're not very portable. iPods are meant to go everywhere with you and this one truly does. In fact, it is thinner than the old 20 GB and lighter too. The video use is great for this. I am converting all of my shows I have on dvd and many of my movies to my iPod so I have a good selection on the go. With the 60 GB I can imagine having 60 movies and still having room for a lot of music. It is free and easy to convert dvd's, just use a dvd decryptor and ipod video convertor (both free). The screen looks much sharper than any previous iPod. The one thing I don't like is for the 60 GB, you only get about 3 hours of video playback (not horrible). So on 8 hour plane rides you might not want to use video the whole time, but on the most part 3 hours should be enough. Well stop reading and get out and buy one!

Just took a 30gb iPod back because it would not re-charge. Did at first, but then I left it on the computer all night and it would not charge. Comment?

is it possible to convert all types of music to a format that the ipod will accept? I have tons of music from nabster, and I was wondering if you can convert this music to an ipod friendly format. If so, I will be purchasing this product. Thanks.
