"Solid Audio Quality, Great for First Time DAP Users (Simple Ease of Use!)"
3.5 starson by LiQuiD_FuSioNPros: Solid Audio Quality, Very Slim Size, PDA-like Features
Cons: Doesn't Offer Alot of Audio Features, No Remote; No Case or Dock, Pricey!
Summary: The iPod HP is the same only except there's an "HP" logo engraved on the back. All this new iPod does is make it easier for regular PCs.
The iPod is great for first time users who are new in the mp3 world. Experienced users won't find much in the audio dept here. There are no mixing features, custom 5-band EQ options, no gapless playback, or any audio info options to view. For the price tag, you would expect all this.
The iPod comes with PDA-like features such as contacts lists, calendars, text viewing capabilities, games etc. What's nice about the iPod is the amount of third party software/hardware it supports. Such as loading photos (but not for viewing), voice recorders, etc.
Bottom line: If you're a first time user and want something SIMPLE and easy to work with, then this iPod is for YOU.
If you're an experienced user, you'll want something that offers more (Rio Karma, iRiver).
