"Greatest music player of all time."
Pros: Small, VERY light, great touch sensitive click wheel, great looking colours, 8 hour battery life, extremely quick and easy to find the song you want, can be taken anywhere with you.
Cons: Can scratch quite easily. (I recommend a silicon case to protect your iPod, not the cheap plastic ones that come with it).

Pros: have used other mp3's from i- audio and nike, and the mini is much easier to use from every aspect and definitely more dependable. have put it through rough use, jogging high miles - works every time.
Cons: battery life. definitely less than advertised. have reverted to recharging after a few hours of use.

"Does it matter what I think?"
Pros: Although I think most people thinking of buying the iPod mini have already made up their mind, but I will humor you anyways. I got this mp3 player because it was given to me, not because I am a zombie following every commercial fad that comes along. Pros?
Cons: Now the cons of the iPod are also there, despite popular zombie-opinion. The obvious one is that if you don't buy an iPod you will shot that you can think for yourself. It is quite big actually, I mean, compare it to the Rio Carbon, the Carbon has more sp

Pros: Style is excellent, menu wheel is fun to use and sound is superb. Syncs nicely with the PC to download songs as well
Cons: No stop button - I'd like to be able to stop playing and turn the unit off to save power.
