"They Are The Market Leaders For A Reason"
Pros: Small, Nice Design, Good Battery Life, Perfect Amount Of Storage Space, iTunes is excellent
Cons: No More Than 4 Color Choices, N AC Adaptrer Included, No FireWire Cable Included (doesn't matter for me)
Summary: Apple with their iPods are the market leaders for a reason. I now have the 6 GB ipod mini and it's fantastic. I used to have a Zen Micro, and I had 6 problems with it (with hardware and firmware) in 2 months, so i returned it and got an iPod instead. Apple aren't leading the market5 because of brand name, they are because the iPod mini is simply the best microdrive player there is.

The two main reason they'reo n top of hte market is the fact that they were the first in this market and they're multi-million dollar advertising.
I've seen much better players for the same price if not better. Prime examples are teh zen micro and x5. The zen micro is a perfect competitor the the mini and the x5 is the perfect competitor for the ipod photo. Same price and much more features. If you look at your post, u have no proof that supports your opinion. Well i do. The 2 players i listed have better sound quality than teh ipod. They ahve much more features, and same price. Argue that. And if you are to say that i am one of those people that are just mad that another player is better than theirs, you're wrong. I have had my mini for over 4 months and i just sold it 3 days ago.
