  • "DESIGNED TO ABSORB SWEAT!!!"
    on by ondvergeof

    Pros supports product red

Cons poor design; mine stopped working after four days of using it at the gym as it was diagnosed by a genius to have been "water damaged" when the dock connector is designed to be upside down when clipped on your left collar...DESIGNED TO ABSORB SWEAT!!!

Summary I'm stuck with a defective item that Apple refuses to take responsibility for, stating it was my fault it got water in it...so unless Apple had a disclaimer for users not to use this 6th generation nano when running/working out or to not clip it on your left collar as it would it is DESIGNED TO ABSORB SWEAT that later on would be diagnosed as "water damaged" since probably a drop of sweat went through the doc connector, I don't think I should be left with a $149 piece of crap!

  • "One thing:music"
    on by JV12

Pros Great for music and Radio and for using as a watch. Touchscreen is perfect for navigation.

Cons No games and no bluetooth, price

Summary Overall, the ipod nano 6g loses a lot of features from the 5g but this one is completely focused on music. Its sound quality is good too. Some cons are no games and no bluetooth but I don“t think a lot of users will miss that. Also, Apple could also use it as a wireless controller for the iphone like the Sony ericson live view.

  • "Great, it all depends on your necessities."
    on by CarlitosNota

Pros Small, easy to change the song, is not like an ipod touch that you have to unlock it every time. User friendly, great volume, and it goes directly to what it supposed to do PLAY MUSIC.

Cons I have not found anything bad. I think not all cons apply for all people. It depends the way that you use it. For me is perfect, just what I wanted.

Summary I like the new iPod Nano because is little, easy to use. I have the iPod Nano 1st gen, Ipod touch 3rd gen and I wanted something a little bit more "on the go". Apple listened to me with this.

  • "The tactical problems are marginal."
    on by Trevor Colley

Pros So what if it's a big shuffle. It serves it's purpose: playing music. I would gladly trade features for a manageable size.

Cons The firmware for video would have been incredibly easy to include. I have no idea why Apple didn't do it. And, as with all Apple products, the price is higher than would constitute its utility. You're paying for a lot of intangibles.

    Summary Here's the solution:

In line controls solve 90% of it's issues.

  • "Back to the drawing board."
    on by Kemikai_Ali

Pros Connection with the iTunes library, great sound, FM radio with pause is a good add on, optional Nike+ fitness system.

Cons The new controls are harder if not impossible to use for people for people with big fingers, loss of video capture, and loss of video playback, speaker.

Summary While the new iPod Nano still has the great backings of an iPod, with things like iTunes syncing, and Nike+ fitness system. The new control system are not the most enjoyable user interface out there. I would recommend going for the previous iPod nano instead, or the SanDisk Sansa Clip plus.
