Pros: Connection with the iTunes library, great sound, FM radio with pause is a good add on, optional Nike+ fitness system.

Cons: The new controls are harder if not impossible to use for people for people with big fingers, loss of video capture, and loss of video playback, speaker.

Summary: While the new iPod Nano still has the great backings of an iPod, with things like iTunes syncing, and Nike+ fitness system. The new control system are not the most enjoyable user interface out there. I would recommend going for the previous iPod nano instead, or the SanDisk Sansa Clip plus.
