"Good Sound, Compact" on by alatino
Pros: Very portable, enough space for music and pictures
Cons: Hard to download music from Itunes to the unit
Summary: I received the iPod Nano 2GB for Christmas from my spouse. The first time I downloaded the CD Itunes to the computer it was easy. I also downloaded some CDs to the computer and then to the unit and was kind of easy. Because I used 3 different computers to download Itunes I found that you can not download music from one to the other computer without loosing your playlist that you already had on the unit or export the playlist you have on your unit to one of the other computers. Which means you need to use only one computer to keep your music together. You also have a limited format that only allows you to download music from the web store music. Now that I am using more iTune program it has started to give me more problems to reconize my unit or download from my cds. For the Apple company being a large company, this products gives you so many problem without options or solutions for the price you pay it is not really worth the price. The only good thing about the iPod Nano it is very, very protable and good sound quality.

"very good player, but it scraches WAY TO EASY" on by scooby4844
Pros: great sound, good LCD screen,e.t.c....
Cons: .99 cents a song, scraches, and batery life
Summary: If you are looking for a great mp3 pkayer then you are at the right place. this player has evrything you need(style,software,screen,e.t.c...) i got this player and love it this comes with easy to use itunes, but it is .99 cents a song which is prety bad compared to walmart.con. if you do end up buying this player DO NOT USE IT until you get a case becuse your fingernail can schrach it(pitiful) so i recamened from their limited array of assesories the i see nano clear case. also it has a limited amount of docks it can use becuse it's port is in a difren't place. the play back quality is very good(10 out of 10) all and all if you are looking for a player with great playback quality and a screen i recomened the nano.

"Awesomely-outrageous" on by mdgeidel
Pros: Easy to use...once you set it up
Cons: workin on those
Summary: Read some complaints and approvals, but overall this thing is bad arse!
To start,
Some complain about setup and usage with itunes. Get over it. Anyone with the least bit of comp usage (myself) should be able to install the software, import to I tunes and get goin. I love the auto update. Check the songs you want, leave it that way, and when you hook it up it updates, ROCK!
As far as battery life, follow the recommended charge in the instructions. If not, like all other rechargeable batteries, let it discharge all the way, plug it in for a day, and listen to music for 6 days (that’s what I am on and I use mine every day for at least an hour in the gym.)
Scratches. Yeah it will scratch. Spend the 6 bucks for the thin film adherent protective covering (which includes the cover for the screen and wheel) and again….get over it.
I am used to plug and drag USB style mp3 players, but I have to say, for the screen, wheel, and ease of use this thing owns! Dont believe in perfect so i gotta throw a 9.
Cheers to all and have fun with this toy.
PS Automobile hookups (if you want to spend the dough) ROCK THE HOUSE!
Cheers x 2 -
"Nice product.... compact and easy to use" on by jamminjamy
Pros: lightweight, easy to use, stylish
Cons: none really... click wheel sensitive at times
Summary: This is my first iPod and I am loving it so far. I have the 2 gig version which is all I need, if I run out of space I will just swap out playlists... but this hasn't been a problem yet.

"Awsum product" on by acoolguy77
Pros: lightweight, very small and a nice user interface
Cons: click wheel a bit sensitive, thats about it
Summary: I purchased this a few weeks ago, and it has by far met all my expectations. This is well worth the money. $200 is a bit much for a 2GB player, but when you buy this, you are paying for quality. It is very sturdy and well built. The user interface is great, just plug it in(after you download itunes) and itl take every song on your computer and upload it right to your ipod. PS. There are some people who think ipods can only play itunes, that is a complete mith, dont worry, you can play any song you got, the only ones it wont play are purchased songs, like from napster and stuff
