"Made for Nano items NOT compatible" on by techfan2001
Pros: Great Mp3 Player
Cons: made for nano accesories will NOT work
Summary: Despite what the above review says, the dock connector on the bottom of the new Nano has been shifted as has the headphone jack, so many made for nano products (any that involve the dock connector) will not work unless purchased specifically for the new one

"Give it a rest, already, CNET" on by b_baggins
Pros: Ideal MP3 player
Cons: There really aren't any
Summary: No one but you cares about having an FM tuner in an MP3 player. You just sound like boring zealots when you keep ranting about it as a "negative."

"Better than original in every way." on by marsenye
Pros: scratch resistant, long battery life, click wheel, capacity, competitive pricing, stylish
Cons: None really.
Summary: Why does CNET think it needs to bash Apple products? The cons they list are completely rediculous. Who would want to watch video on the Nano's screen? If Apple had made the screen bigger, the product itself would become bigger, and CNET would hate on it because it's not as small as the original. I still don't see a point in having video iPods. In my opinion, it's just a novelty. Even all of my favorite movies and clips only get 2 or 3 views from me, and then I never watch them again.
Radio is another small con that shouldn't even be listed. Who would actually want to listen to the horrible quality of FM radio when they can already put thousands of songs and podcasts on their iPods? If you want it that bad, you can always dish out some extra cash to by the accesory. I would never use the radio feature on my iPod, so I would basically be paying extra for something I don't need.
The new Nano makes up for every problem that the first had; mainly battery life and its being scratch-prone. -
"It has everything I expected from apple..." on by Kelsito
Pros: Great design, huge battery life, slick and better value
Cons: No FM tunner, LOL just kiding, no con for me....
Summary: We don't need FM tunner on the ipod, that why we have something way cooler called PODCASTS (which I believe could be the evolution of radio), who cares about the radio and 5 hours of comercials per song... Duh!! Hello?? Whatever works for you, but you fm tunner people really deserve a Duh!! I can listen to the radio... WOW... THIS IS A MP3 PLAYER....
I skipped the first Ipod Nano Generation cause of its scratchy surface, and I always wanted a smaller mini, feature packed... with color screen and the ability to see photos, larger battery life, and more options for capacity and stuff, and guess what, I have it now, so thank you Apple, I already own mine, and got one for my brother and sister... They love it... Awsome product here... -
"Improvement where it is needed...offers 8gb" on by aqaxz
Pros: Better battery life, higher quality case
Cons: no fm radio
Summary: The second-generation nano delivers improvement where it is needed. With a new battery set, the nano offers up to a days worth of life (24 hours). Plus its new sleek case not only offer better durability, but comes in several different colors. The pricing got better too, now you can purchase an 8gb nano for same price you could buy a 4gb first-generation nano. Sure the nano doesn’t support fm radio or movies for that matter, but who in the world would want to watch a movie on this screen. The nano is mini mp3 player, nothing more. If you want to watch movies get a psp or a regular ipod.
