"Great, Apple didn't listen to gadget focused reviews"
Pros: Improved music search, no FM radio, no recording, no fuss
Cons: No voice recognition for fast music search, who wants my old Nano?
Summary: It's nice to see Apple can keep their focus right and not get mislead by reviews that are feature focused.
The improvements are exactly addressing the important issues. We buy a music player to play music and don't want to spend time on navigation.
iTunes 7 seems to also address the important issues including better user interface and integration.
All those other "toy players" with longer feature lists simply can't impress me. I must admit I was concerned that Apple would start to flood their products with all those gimmick features but they didn't.
This is a product for anybody who wants to buy a music player to play music

For the same price of the Ipod you can get ALL the features ipod Nano got with more. It's common sense really. People buy Ipod because it's a fashion item.
A music player it is, but Radio has music, ever heard of Music Videos? Line in recording to share music. All has got to do with music and thats what you wanted to buy isn't it? -
No FM radio
No FM recording
No line-in recording
No video playback
No photo slideshow during MP3 playback
No kidding!
This is not something I would be bragging about if you wish to entice people's interest. -
If Apple can squeeze in video and an FM radio, this would be the perfect MP3 player by far.

I agree, you dont need that much to add to the nano, it's small and sleek. Although, FM Radio would be a lot nicer on it. Is it too much to ask for?

That is strange. I thought what came out of FM radio was music.
