"Give it a rest, already, CNET"
4.5 starson by b_bagginsPros: Ideal MP3 player
Cons: There really aren't any
Summary: No one but you cares about having an FM tuner in an MP3 player. You just sound like boring zealots when you keep ranting about it as a "negative."

I agree; no one really needs or cares for one in their mp3 player.

I spent the $49 for the radio remote and I've used it exactly twice in the last 7 months. I thought I would use it at the gym so that I could listen to the tv. I ended up ignoring tv and listened to my tunes instead. Radio is nice to have but unnecessary for me.

YOU SPEAK FOR THE PAY MORE GET LESS CROWD.

i also want to use the stuff i bought for the old nano too

The only reason for the crummy FM tuners is so you can listen to the different TVs at the gym.

Sansa has built in FM radio and full video for cheaper

I like the radio. Radio is one of the reasons why I don't want to buy an ipod. Also the fact that there are other good players out there that aren't ipod.

You are so absolutely 100% right. The beauty of the iPod Nano is the simplicity.

This is a gimmick feature and most people stop using it when they experience the unreliable performance.

Perhaps James Kim lives next to a radio tower and always keep his body positioned optimally for good RF reception while he is using this feature?

I'm very critical to audio quality so I gave up on mobile FM radio (tried a few solutions). You can also find wrist watches with FM radio and they also seem to appeal only to geeks.
