"The ONLY reason shuffle lovers love it..."
0.5 starson by lsg_theoneandonlyPros: iTunes, cheap, compact, "popular"...
Cons: everything else there is to it...
Summary: This piece of gum-pack sized MP3 player is a major rip-off. Sorry shuffle lovers, but the shuffle is so cheap because it ONLY does ONE thing. Play your music. Nothing else. IMO it should be a lot cheaper for what you get. For the same price, you can get a SONY NW-E100 series mp3 player that does exactly the same thing, plus a nifty amount of extras like an LCD. Don't get me wrong but the ipod and the ipod mini were terrific, almost perfect, but i just cant say the same for the shuffle. The shuffle has grabbed more than half of the flash based mp3 player market in the US courtesy of it's older siblings, not itself. Shufflers should be more open and not be scared to try out other brands...
(and the dispute goes on)

i think it is a waste of money and no one should buy it. the usb plug pops out after a few months of use. when i pull off the cover it pulls it off to. yesterday when i went to put it on the charger the usb thing came out with the ribon and now i cant use it cause it is the charger/ song loader so im having to buy a nano so i can get a good ipod. i think the ipod shuffle should be sold for $30. there cheeply made. these are for people who cant afford the bigger ipods. i think people should buy a 512mb scandisk than the shuffle it lasts longer and there is a display screen and its better quality for a cheeper price. i dont think anyone should waste their time and money on an ipod shuffle
