"Not worth it"
Pros: Small............
Cons: Where do I start?
Summary: The Shuffle does not sync with my PowerBook. Sometimes, the Mac can't find it, and other times, when it is connected, it complains about not being able to find the "hard drive." It's slow, and the sound quality is poor. All around, the lamest thing ever.

I think I had the same problem with my Nano. Your computer might be saying that because it's connected into the wrong port. I know that's really lame, but that might be the reason why, because it happened to me.
