"Good music player, and great for testing."
on by gwhiz2KPros Great sound (with real headphones, not the included ones)
Nice display
Light
Safari
Cheap (refurbished from Apple)
Nice music software (on the device, not iTunes on desktop)Cons Mine is only 8 gig.
Don't like iOS as much as Android. Separate settings area seems unintuitive.
No back button.
Home button sometimes doesn't work.
Inability to transfer music without iTunes.
Back scratches easily.
No AC power plug.Summary I originally bought it for Website/app testing. After liking the music player, I wish I got more memory. It's a great little music player, but it seems underpowered for some of the games I loaded on it. Music quality is good, much better than my Galaxy Nexus, and on a par with my ZuneHD. I tested all three with expensive Sennheiser in-ears, and the same high quality MP3.
I thoroughly dislike iTunes, and the unneeded apps it installs on my Windows PC (such as "bonjour", which likes to generate lots of errors). I tried every which way to transfer some... any.. music onto the device, and it's so locked down the only way I can is with iTunes. Boo. Even DropBox is prevented from transferring music.
Of course, the Zune HD is much the same way. Only Android lets you transfer music without a program via drag and drop.
Wireless sync didn't work so well for me several times, took a few tries to get it working, and then only sporadically.
Once again, great little player with good sound. Just wish it didn't rely on iTunes.
