    "Only 16 GB???"

by sniceguy on September 10, 2007

Pros: Awesome gadget with everything a geek-on-the-go wants.

Cons: Way too little storage space and poor battery life.

Summary: When I heard about the iphone's features, I was excited, but after finding about it's storage space...I was left wishing for a regular ipod with these features. Apple did the right thing and came out with the ipod touch! One problem...storage space is waaaay less than it ought to be. Flash memory is years away from having the storage capacity a hdd holds. Besides that, it is very expensive. The real ipod touch should be a hdd based. We dont mind having an ipod touch the same thickness as the 80gb 5th gen ipod. Especially if the storage and battery life can match the last gen's. I will buy the ipod touch when they release an 80gb model that has 40 hour battery life. I'm sure I will be getting plenty more years of use from my 5th gen ipod video...which I have to say, is a very satisfying device. Heres to hoping to get the ipod touch we all want very soon.

It's true -- Apple did its research, and customers told them that they wanted bigger screens and longer battery life. Since one can sync any iPod with their computer at home, which can hold their entire media library, very few people actually want a big, heavy, shock-sensitive, battery-eating media player when a Flash-based one will hold everything they need for the week.

Sorry you don't agree, but you're outvoted.

because im sure there arent any people who disagree with you. You are completely right and whoever thinks differently is wrong. The ipod touch sucks because its definitely not the most innovative PMP Ever Manufactured... and 16GB is not enough for anyone in their right mind.

and if you didnt catch on... yes every word of that was sarcastic.
