"Endless Possibilities..."
Pros: Battery Lfe, Jailbreak, Large Screen, Good Sound
Cons: Only MP3 or AAC Format support. No 64-Bit Support
Summary: I have had this player since the first week it was released. I have to say the player's possibilities expand SO much more when its jailbroken so if you haven't figured out how yet hit up www.ipodtouchfans.com.
You can play NES, GBA, GBC, and Playstation (PSX) games on this as well as many other little flash based games from 3rd party app creators (offline as well as online) There are hundreds of apps, themes, and ways to customize and tweak this ipod.
It is fun to experiment and use and if you want to show off your ipod to people then THIS IS THE MP3 PLAYER FOR YOU.
however, iPods still don't support formats such as ogg, flac, or any other lossless formats.
I tried using this player with 320kbps MP3's and the battery would not last through the school day for me. (however if you mostly use 192 bit rate or lower the battery life is fantastic)
It occurred to me that i didn't want a tool of customization.. I wanted an MP3 player.
So I have decided to give the iPod to my little bro and get a Cowon D2 instead.
But overall, if you have the money for this and buy your music off of itunes or arent serious about music quality this is definitely the best portable media player on the market.
