"mediocre, throwaway player"
Pros: larger screen, nice looks, slim
Cons: user interface
Summary: The player is slim and very pocketable, but this comes at the expense of having to use the included 2.5mm to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
GUI is somewhat haphazard as stated in the CNET review. as for the mechanical power switch, i can think of one other player that has a switch - the iPod shuffle - so I wouldn't characterize it as "rare".
mostly i think this player suffers from gimmicky feature bloat. strictly as a throwaway music player, i'd consider it mediocrity wrapped in a pretty shell.
