  • "Good player, great for beginners"
    on by drowninmusic

Pros Easier to navigate than previous Coby players, nice look, plenty of features

Cons Display screen could use some improvement

Summary This is a great player for beginners. It has many featues, including video, voice recording, and radio. It also has a nice sized screen. Not the biggest, so it probably isn't great to watch movies on there, but it does fine with music videos and looks pretty good.

The display screen while playing music, however, isn't that stunning, and you can't listen to your music and be at the main menu at the same.

It has a handy 'lock' feature to present accidental button presses while your mp3 player is in your purse or your pocket.

All in all, a nice player. =]

  • "Good Value: Glitchy Software"
    on by lushys

Pros cheap, good quality audio, decent tft display

Cons very glitchy software, horrible manuels, company has a bad rep for shoddy manufactering

Summary Coby is known to be a horrible manufacture of things that certainly almost always break. However remour has it they are trying to break free of this label and raise their overall quality

So far this is a great mp3/video player, specially for the price. I havent had any problems with the video/audio playback however someone who isnt to adapatable with glitchy software may be under the impression that it doesnt work, when in reality whoever programmed the shoddy software obvouisly didnt have anyone Q.A it properly. Ex: when you move an .mtv (video file) onto the device and go to the browsers "movies" folder it will list it as empty, but if you push back or select the menue you then choose the mptmedia folder and your movies are listed here, same as the mp3 section. The background color is nasty by default and unfortunatly even though you can upload your own jpegs to the device you cant load your own background.

If you just want simple plug and play music/video without worrying about it being so expensive you almost feel like you need to insure it then this is for you, probably best for your high school kids that you know will pawn it off for pot when they get bored of it.

  • "Forget IPOD! Save $$$$"
    on by pedrojim

Pros Excellent Sound, Easy To Use

Cons Too Long To Access Library

Summary Our first MP3 was a Sansa E250. This player almost equals the Sansa at a cheaper price. The sound quality is excellent. You cant go wrong with this player.

  • "Bad quality! Touch screen and on/off button can break"
    on by breaking-dawn

Pros *The music works good *Easy to access *Portable *Radio is included on mp3 player *buttons are easy to push

Cons The buttons broke after I pushed on a button too hard the onf button is pushed in; The movies/videos don't work at all, and the photos take forever to download! the earphones: you can't keep it in your ear for longer than an hour without a head ache!

Summary When I first bought this product, I thought it was great. I downloaded a bunch of songs, and I played them in my mp3. I wanted to listen through all of them, but after 45 minutes I got such abad head ache I had to abandon it for that day and go back the next day. I had to turn the player on, but when I did the button got pushed in. i turned it off and checked to see if I could turn it back on but the button was too down. I had to wait a week before finally fixing it!! I have had the mp3 player for about 2 years and I couldn't download any videos/movies! RIP OFF!
Now I finally downloaded some videos but it took me 2 days and I could only have 2 movies and like 50 songs and NO pics or my fav songs. the only good thing is that you can change the volume, and radio: you can save your favorite station. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

  • "cheap, easy to navigate, but a lot of proplems"
    on by rowin999

Pros it is a cheap mp, it can even be found in stacker games as a prize, and it is easy to navagate.

Cons has many problems with the software, i'vehadone that didnt even turn on. it should be recalled

Summary its a decent mp but it has to many problems, but that explains why its so cheap and is found in arcade games
