"Very Problematic" on by rgsr10
Pros: Good amplifier
Cons: Tiny fonts are hard to read, construction not so good, service was poor
Summary: I was excited to receive this unit and found the sound quality and amplifier to be excellent.
Using the D2 was an entirely different matter. The interface is awkward at best, and much of the information on the screen is in a VERY tiny font that is nearly impossible to read -- and not adjustable.
I had a problem with the unit and had a very difficult time contacting customer service. Their web site has a "live chat" feature, but it hangs almost every time I try to use it.
One time, I did manage to get through and the service guy was supposed to email me an RMA number for returning the (3 week old) unit. I never got the RMA number and have been trying to recontact them for a few days to obtain it.
In the meantime, I went ahead and bought a Creative Labs Zen -- which is MUCH easier to use. Perhaps one day I will get the RMA number from Cowan?
