"Great product, small and good" on
Pros: Light. Small. Works without need for installing driver (It worked in Linux for me).
Cons: No support for Ogg files. A bit expensive, but compared to other 256 mp3 players, the price is good.

"Current Best Bang for the Buck, IMHO" on
Pros: Shows up as a removable drive! I Recently purchased the 512 model, so far very happy. Excellent sound, good built in microphone, very cool teeny little 5 band EQ on teeny little screen. Very small and light weight. Included arm band, holster, and line in
Cons: May be too small! Difficult to browse files if you don't use folders. Included earbuds are garbage. Spotty FM reception.

"Great little MP3 player" on by piec2
Pros: Sound quality is great (FM or MP3), battery life all right, MP3 player is small
Cons: Earphones that come with the unit are uncomfortable, no true playlist support
Summary: This is a great MP3 player.
FM sound quality is good (I live in the city so signals are strong).
MP3 sound quality is great (yeah the earphones provided are too big, but who uses them anyway...).
Backlit LCD is nice and I don't find it too small (it IS small, but OK). I don't get the static that some people were talking about (maybe a firmware upgrade fixed it?).
Firmware upgrades are great (you better upgrade to the latest to avoid problems, no matter at which date you acquired this beauty).
Creative found out a way to order MP3s eventhough the unit doesn't really support playlists.
I find battery life to be all right (but I don't listen to MP3 constantly like some people may).
Overall, as you can see, I'm really satisfied !
