"NOT ALL IT'S HYPED UP TO BE" on by clmascote
Pros: Good sound for it's size. Great features and included accessories straight out of the box.
Cons: Where to start...flimsy, buggy, buttons stick....
Summary: I am very disappointed in cnet AND creative. Cnet for giving me false hopes with thier high rating and creative because they usually make pretty good products. I expect alot better from them.
I've only had the player a month and already the battery compartment door is broken from normal use. It randomly shuts off and sometimes doesn't even power up at all!(and not because of the battery door) I've updated the firmware twice in hopes of fixing the problem but to no avail. It seems to fix it at first, but after a couple uses it starts acting up again.
Overall a good product(when it's working right). If it wasn't for the power problems, I would probably give it a 9 out of 10. -

"Good multimedia device....but, doesn't excel at any one category" on by mikegunnz
Pros: inexpensive, small and light weight, doebles as a portable external jump drive for files other than music(who needs floppies or cds)
Cons: Despite it's all encompassing utility, it's not that great at music
Summary: Haven't had any reliability issues with mine yet(have had it for about 1yr) as some others have mentioned. I think its a great multi-purpose external drive for music AND other files, but it's forte is definately not music. However for the casual user who might just want to use it for the gym or infrequent travel it music capabilities should suffice. As a stand-alone mp3 player i'd give it a 6, but as a multi purpose device...an 8, so that's how i came to my score of 7.

"Works very well for workouts" on by nmitre
Pros: Small, flash-based, line-in recording
Cons: Earbuds kind of big, difficult to get the volume just right when recording
Summary: I primarily use the MuVo Micro N200 for workouts (mostly running). It's so small that I can clip it to my shorts waistband and not even know it's there. Since it's flash-based, I don't have to worry about it skipping. The deciding factor for me was the line-in recording, which lets me transfer audio from just about any audio source. I found that I have to play with the volume to get the line-in recording just right; not enough volume and you have to turn the volume up on the player when you get to the encoded track; too much volume and you hear unwanted noise during the loud parts of the track. Great player overall for the athlete!
