Pros Good Value, tiny size, has an lcd, fm radio has good reception, recording for voice, radio and line in great battery life at 20 hrs various equalizers and settings to change
Cons Buttons are small, slight hissing sound when backlight is on but its not bad, unnoticeable when playing music
Summary The Creative Muvo n200 is the best flash player i have seen, it has a vast aray of features and it is very easy to navigate around, Apple may have the best hard disk based players but the muvo is certainly the best flash based player anyone looking for a first player its perfect especially with sports, despite this the armband is not available in Australia but they say they will stock it soon
Pros Lovable on bus rides and workouts... pretty good sound quality, thumbdrive capability
Cons LED light went off often meaning couldnt see the menu if i wanted to change something in the pitch dark, too little memory
Summary I liked this player till i lost it.. main draw back was the memory... all thought that was my fault of not getting a 1GB one.. i liked the userfreindly controls it was pretty easy to change tracks and volume. Didnt have to look at what i was doing. Perfect for bus rides especially when its 6 in the morning. No cracks in the sound quality.
Pros Multi functions, can be used for jogging and many colurs to choose from
Cons No true playlist support
Summary N200 is the smallest and the flash player with the most functions. The battery life is also strong, lasting to 15hrs. Recommended for people who jogs and listens to music and for those who wants a multi-function player.
Pros SMALL, good battery life.
Cons Has SERIOUS Hardware and Software FLAWS
Summary After looking at creative.com's forum on this mp3 player, I saw +200 people with posts about the same problem!!!
FYI, no firmware upgrade will fix it either.
1) Unit emits a HISSING sound when Backlight LCD is on.
2) Unit shuts off Randomly
3) Clicking noise is heard after 10 sec into each song.
I was so shocked to see pages and pages of people posting these same flaws~
Most people returned the unit. and Creative should seriously RECALL the MuVO n200 because it has SERIOUS problems. Check out he creative.com 's forum if you are thinking about purchasing this mp3 player!
Pros Better price than Ishuffle, very compact,. I rub it in the face of my friend with a 30GB hard drive player that doesn't fit in his pocket, and the friend that spent 100$ on a big 128MB Iriver player.
Cons no true playlist support, Also you need some headphones with better sound quality, but what player doesn't? The headphones don't match the player if you get black.
Summary I love this player. The only thing i Don't like is the fact that it doesn't auto-sort your files, but that's OK because I use Itunes, which sorts them into folders automatically. I just copy and paste my folders and I'm ready to go! I really just put it on shuffle mode though, I don't really use the playlists at all (unless I want to show a friend a song). I wish that it could get a little louder, but it already gets pretty loud. I think it might just be the headphones that are't really that great in audio quality. The headphones ACTUALLY STAY IN MY EARS!! I have tried other earbuds but they don't fit that well. I'm going to get some huge headphones for this little player. I also love the case. It's too bad that the case and headphones are white, that kinda cramps the sleek black of the 1GB model I got. The battery life rocks, but I can't figure out how to use the armband. I am glad I didn't get ripped off like a friend of mine, He payes 100$ for a 128MB model. And at less than 10$ more than the Ipod Shuffle (with shipping)on NewEgg.com, I couldn't and didn't lose! I already beat them with the armband and carrying case that came free, not paying 60$ more for that much from apple. I also love how all the buttons are easily accessible even with the case on. I'm sticking with this player. With more features and accesories than the Ipod shuffle. I think it reads my mind, it plays my favorite songs often in shuffle mode.
