"This player, although not perfect, provides great bang for the buck! Highly recommended!"
Pros: Recognized as a drive on the computer; easy to create playlists using Explorer; very compact; nice user interface (not too confusing;) good battery life; great sound with upgraded headphones!
Cons: Bad headphones; voice recording is muffled if sound is not close to mic (no gain controls;) FM recording is not great, but gets the job done; could be a touch louder (although it is still plenty loud)

"It's got a screen, it's cheaper, and it can shuffle too!"
Pros: Screen (backlit), battery life, replacable AAA battery, works a flash storage, tiny, color options, FM reception, okay headphones
Cons: Could always be cheaper, does not share simple/quality design of the Shuffle (no big deal, so you won't impress geeks)

Pros: I'v owned my black 512 N200 since Oct 04, couldn't be happier. Mine dosn't have the noise while backlit problem I'v read about. Haven't tried line in recording but quick voice recordings work great. Excellent sound, feature set and battery life. I use the
Cons: The MUVO line has been on the market for about 2 or 3 years, Ipod shuffle is just a cheap imitation of Creative. No playlist support
