"great potential, poor quality"
Pros: great concept, tiny, good battery life, great price
Cons: poor quality, no rechargable battery
Summary: When the muvo first came out, I was a huge proponent! In a world where the only option seemed to be the ipod, here comes Creative labs with a smaller form factor, bigger memmory space for less money. I was so excited. I did my research and despite some warnings purchased it at Fry's. I bought the one with 1Gb of memmory.
The first problem I enountered was with the unit not playing, shutting istelf off. i learned through the the internet that this could be circumvented by updating the software.
Next, the battery cover fell off with very little use.
lastly, it stopped working all together. will turn on but immediately shuts down.
overall, a great idea which is poorly delivered. My next purchase will be the Ipod nano. i recommend that you avoid this player.
