Pros: This is the best sounding mp3 player- particularly when you run the lineout to an amp and then headphones. Easily moddable to put in larger HDDs. Recent firmware stops lockups, and recent software allows drag and drop operation through Windows Explorer.
Cons: Big and heavy. Not reliable with old firmwares- flash immediately.

Pros: On the go playlists battery life Sound quality Previewing each song before you add it to your selected music list Music library organization
Cons: Big size, but if you can deal with the large size than it won't be a problem

"love it even more after a year plus"
Pros: sound quality, 2 line out in addition to headphone jack, 40 gig storage, playlist and file organization and accessibility very well thought out, firewire and usb, interface design, records mp3s, dual battery slots, etc! I love how there are different ways
Cons: initial software was bad, but upgrade much improved.

Pros: With a second battery in as well,covers my transatlantic journeys and half my first weeks holiday as well. Have put my entire CD on it and its just over half full. It goes every where with me. Excellantservice from the UK service and products dept.
Cons: No protective case but the guys at Circuit City had just the answer for that!
