Pros: Excellent quality sound, nice colorful screen, a lot of cool features, very cute and portable.

Cons: Cheap plastic cover at the front (easily gets scratched), one color available, not a lot of accessories designed for the mp3, no gapless function.

Summary: The first thing I thought about this mp3 is that I'd finally found a reason to not buy an iPod. Sound quality was better than iPod's, it was much more beautiful than the new nano series and has a lot more extras (voice recording, radio and so on).

But, 2 hours later, the 5 ways touch pad has broken up! Impossible to use the left button! My mother's Zen totaly stopped working! So we are both returning the product.

There is a lot of returns for this mp3 by now (look at amazons store reviews for the same mp3). My suggestion is to wait a bit so that Creative can fix up the problem. When it'll be done, it will be an AMAZING MP3.

If this player can record voice through the microphone, can it also record stereo music from the built-in FM radio ?

There are several different ways to reboot and/or reset the unit and based on your comments you just gave up without reading or researching anything. Don't trash a product unless you are educated about the matter. Read the different technical articles and contact support before giving up on things and rush into conclusions.

As with portable music player, seamless playback is limited to the technology of the file format. There are no flash or micro-drive based players that play seamless with the mp3 file format. Even the iPod Nano's and mini's can't play seamless! However, the Creative Zen can play the AAC format, which does allow seamless playback.

Just because yours broke doesn't mean everyone else's will. I have one and mine has been fine aside from a few freeze-ups. It is one of the best players I've had. Things break, whether it be your fault, the manufacturer, or the carrier (if you had it shipped). It's rare for something like this to happen, but manufacturers make mistakes. Apple IPODS are DOA all the damn time, so why complain about this. Fine, go take your $299.99 and buy an IPOD classic, enjoy. I hope it's "DOA" too.

Obviously a fake review. Product not yet released as of 10-16-07. And she got TWO of the non released and the both broke. BS
