"Works fine for an mp3 player, AWFUL tech support." on by Phainein
Pros: You can use Windows Explorer to drag and drop music files and organize them however you like.
Cons: No audiobook support. Doesn't support many video formats. Freezes up intermittently. Tech support is just awful. Website has broken links, you're unable to submit support tickets, and no phone numbers for tech support that work.
Summary: I'm not sure what the cnet reviewer was smoking to say this player has good audiobook support. There is no selection from the main menu for audiobooks, and when I put them in with my music they were not recognized at all. Trying to figure out what I might be doing wrong was what led me to the awful tech support. The links on the site which might lead to a firmware update were all broken and I could not submit a ticket without the missing product information page. I'll admit I've had this mp3 player for years and it has worked adequately for music. It's only been since I decided to use it for an audiobook that I have encountered all these issues.
