"Affordable player full of extras"
Pros: Small, great sound quality for a portable player, user-programable EQ, built in voice recorder and FM radio, strong hard plastic case with stand and belt clip, great design and removable battery.
Cons: Need to get used to the touchpad but it's a plus once you are good at it. Battery life doesn't seem to be 12 hours but it might need a few more charge cycles to reach its maximum capacity.
Summary: Right when you get your Micro, go to Creative's website and upgrade your firmware. Some other reviews on this site complain about not being able to drag and drop music. Now with the updated firmware you can; when you plug it in, it is recognized in My Computer. Also with the new firmware you don't need to install any drivers as long as you have Windows Media Player 10 installed. The earbud heaphones sound great for their size but are too small for my ears and fall out very easily. But that is a personal problem.
