"Exceptional product and value"
Pros: Great alternative to Ipod mini - Excellent sound and easy to use
Cons: Had to update firmware right out of the box - easy to do though.
Summary: I know that there was some issues with this player in the beginning, but with that said all you need to do is download the firmware update and all is good.
The touch pad took a little getting used to and was very sensitive before the firmware update. After the update it settled down and is much better. I do not know about the battery life issue since the update fixes that also.
The extra features such as the FM Radio, Calendar, Alarm, and etc. are all added benefits over the IPOD mini.
All I can say is that Creative pulled this off and this is a great alternative to the Ipod mini. If you want to spend less and have more accessories and features included then this is a great MP3 player.
