Creative Zen Micro Photo (4GB, black)

The other negative review for this mp3 player is very similar to this. If it worked, it would be an excellent mp3 player, but my mp3 player often crashed, froze, reset itself to past dates, was hard to boot up, etc. Eventually, it got to a point where i lost about 400 of 800 songs after a crash, and then shortly after lost the remiaining 400. Now it will not even turn on.

I was initially pleased with the Zen Microphoto because the sound quality was excellent, and the accompanying software made it easy to create playlists and organize songs. Unfortunately, I have had two harddrive crashes within the last four months... making me seriously doubt the durability of this player. Creative is impossible to contact for assistance and I have been overall annoyed with the whole process. I talked a friend into buying a Creative player and she, too, has had problems within the first 6 months of owning the player. There is a shortage of useful accessories, and my initial praise of the player has dropped to utter disappointment.

I just bought this one, but I haven't even received it yet. I'm Having it shipped to me. I have read nothing but good things about this one, and it has a rating of 8.3, which is the 2nd highest rating out there today among all MP3 Players. I went with this one instead of it's big brother (8 GB) because of the price, and the fact that I just don't think I will need 8 GB. But I am sure I will someday, and that's when I will upgrade. I will return and finish this report when I get the item.
