"If you want plug & play, get something else" on by noakes1
Pros: Cute, good features
Cons: Difficult - taking it back to Circuit City
Summary: I never wanted iPod because I did not want to be forced to use iTunes. If you don't want to be forced to use Creative software, don't buy the MicroPhoto. (At least iTunes is functional.) My MicroPhoto froze up. My computer froze up. I uninstalled. I re-installed. I downloaded latest from the website (54 MB!). I managed to delete the few files I was able to transfer, uninstalled one last time, packed it in a box, and signed on to give my review. I will probably go with an iRiver.

"This is a great product for at lest a week or two, but if don't expect it to last much longer." on by dgillenh2o
Pros: Looks great, easy to use
Cons: PIECE OF CRAP, FREEZES UP CONSTANTLY
Summary: This player is sleek and stylish and I guess thats all that Creative thought was important. It freezes up and stops playing often. It's not supposed to skip, but my music skips on a regular basis. At first I thought it was just downloaded poorly, but the same song will skip one time, and not the next. Not worth the money, would never buy another one or reccomend one.

"Had 3.... All died... :(" on by OASP_PT
Pros: Best ever looking one; excellent sound; easy to use
Cons: it s full of bugs and problems
Summary: I had my first one in xmas eve and when I open it I tried to fit the battery and it just didn t close
I went to the shop (FNAC) and they gave me a new one. This one was perfect for 2 days, then i had problems with windows xp connection, it just didn't recognise the player (MTP). I went again to the store and FNAC gave me again a new one. Again perfect for 1 day, because in the next day when i turned it on the OLED screen had an orange vertical strip, which means that the some led freak out. Again to the shop and i choose to kept my money and wait for something better. I loved this unit, and i waited and waited for it, but with all this problems i lost my faith on it. I m sorry but i have to give the lowest mark, because it just don't work -
"This product gives a good few months until the waranty expires." on by Pharaoh1
Pros: It has a nice design, nice audio
Cons: After a while the zen starts to freeze up, the ear jack gets worn out quickly, and the paint comes off easily.
Summary: I wasted my money on this piece of junk, while it kept me satisfied for the first few months, i wouldn't waste my money on it again. I am much happier with the iriver h10.

"Beautiful but useless...." on by jjhayne
Pros: Beautiful color screen and perfect size
Cons: sound very poor and cannot play files larger than 64 kbps
Summary: I was excited about getting this unit as it is my third Creative (and last!) but very disappointed in the playback quality. I checked and on loading my music somehow all my files downgraded to 64 kbps. Creative support just responded with that is the best the unit can do and it is working correctly. Sorry but doesn't matter how nice it looks, if it cannot play the music it's worthless. Mine is going back to the store for another brand!
