"Best Creative Player To Date" on by TheKelth

Pros: 8 giga bites total storage slightly slimmer than Creative Zen Micro

    Cons: No travel power supply

Summary: Being a previous owner of the Zen Micro I have to say I had to think twice about buying this unit my main concern was the headphone jack problem that after 8 months
made my original player useless. That said
what I love about this player is the sound and the 8 gigabitesof storage in a small package. I'm a real purist for quality sound and thats my main reason for buying this product.I dont really care so much about the color of the unitor or color screen. The power supply issue is not so much an issue for me since my old power supply for the Zen Micro works fine and I have an extra battery to boot that works well with the Zen Photo.Play for sure is my next consideration having a Yahoo Music To Go Account this player was ready straight out of the box no firmware updates required
and worked seamlessly with my Yahoo Account .A note of caution if this players drive is as sensative as the Zen Micro beware of not dropping or even jolting this unit as my previous expiriences have been I had to send my Zen Micro's for repair.A must have for me to enjoy the full flavor of this player are the Etymotic Er4's
living in New York and riding the subways a lot I find these little headphones well worht there price in gold.

My problem also started less than a year after purchasing this unit. I've also had problems with the belt holster - it's broken off two times already. This morning on the way to work, my Zen Micro fell on the train tracks so I guess it's time to get something new. The 8GB model looks attractive, but unless they've changed the mechanics, I fear that I'll experience the same problems again.
